Taylor Manufacturing, based in Stevenson, Alabama, is a full-service metal working shop specializing in commercial and industrial components and assemblies. Recently, they reached out to Tim Carlton, a nexAir Territory Manager, for a solution that would help them meet the demands of a new customer. Taylor initially had two welders working eight hours to produce one part per day. When Tim reviewed their process, he recommended they add the Vectis Cobot welding tool to their operations. The Vectis Cobot is a welding tool that is easily programmable and provides high quality results in an efficient manner. Implementing the new technology allowed Taylor to produce four complete parts per day supported by one welder. Upgrading their technology with automation allowed for Taylor Machine & Welding to Forge Forward and get on track to meet their deadlines and satisfy their new customer.
