Specific Job Responsibilities:
Our dry ice operators are hardworking individuals who play an essential role in our productivity. They are focused, determined individuals who take pride in their job responsibilities.
- Loading and packaging dry ice daily in accordance with quality standards.
- Operating a pallet jack or forklift to maneuver dry ice boxes as required to meet production needs.
- Complying with all established safety and quality policies and procedures.
- Completing clean-up functions including, but not limited to, sweeping, washing, painting, trash removal and pick-up.
Qualifications:

- A driven professional with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) who can read and write
- An eager candidate, preferably with at least one year of prior work experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- A reliable team member with a stable employment record and good attendance
- A hardworking employee who can understand and follow the direction of supportive supervisors
- A safety-minded individual who respects the need to don personal protective equipment, including but not limited to hardhats, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, and gloves
- A dedicated team member who will do shift work and has the flexibility to work overtime as needed
While performing the essential duties of this job, dry ice operators are regularly required to stand and walk on concrete for an extended period, bend, use their hands and arms, and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Dry ice operators must be able to enter and exit a forklift and slide empty dry ice boxes weighing approximately 200 pounds. Our dry ice operator employees also occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and hazardous materials and are regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risks of electrical shock. These employees are regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
