Food & Beverage
Nitrous Oxide (N2O) is an approved food additive, specifically as an aerosol spray propellant. Its most common uses in food production are in aerosol whipped cream canisters and cooking sprays.
Healthcare
Nitrous Oxide’s (N2O) painkilling and numbing qualities begin to take effect when the gas is inhaled at concentrations of ten percent and is used for that reason on some medical and dental procedures for analgesic and anesthetic applications.
